Building the Republican Party of Virginia through communication and cooperation.
I was born Republican. My father was a local mayor in Upstate New York, By 3rd grade, I was knocking doors and passing out flyers then in high school driving GOP candidates and on to college where I joined College Republicans and even got my start in writing newsletters as the College Republican National Committee's Communications Director.
I am a die-hard conservative working to expand the Grand Opportunity Party in every way possible. Working the polls, working with our candidates and GOP leaders; bringing in national speakers to NoVA like Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, and Kellyanne Conway.
My goal is connecting RPV Eastern District leaders; sharing ideas and bringing more voters into the Republican Party!

- JNetDirect Inc. (Software)
- Statesmen Strategy Group Ltd. (Consulting)
I have been honored to be a recipient of the Patrick Henry Award for Outstanding Service to the Commonwealth of Virginia by Governor Gilmore; appointed to the Board of Directors and Treasurer, Virginia Biotechnology Research Park (Two terms, Governor Allen); Exporter of the Year by the Northern Virginia Export Council and appointed to the New York Export Council (Two terms, US Secretary of Commerce)

Section A. Membership of the State Central Committee. Clause 3 & 4: "The membership of the State Central Committee shall consist of the following:
- Two (2) Vice Chairmen from the Eastern part of the State
- Two (2) Vice Chairmen for the Western part of the State"
Third, how are they elected?
Section B. Election and Term. Clause 2 of the RPV Party Plan: "The Vice Chairmen shall be elected by the State Central Committee at the first meeting following the Quadrennial State Convention for a term of four (4) years or until their successors are elected." The first meeting of State Central Committee (SCC) is set for Saturday, August 24th. Location has not been established yet. Note that the First Vice Chairman; State Secretary, and State Treasurer will be elected by the SCC also and the whole body of the SCC votes for all the positions.
Fourth, what do Vice Chairmen do?
Section D. Duties. Clause 4: Vice Chairmen -
"The Vice Chairmen's primary duties shall be to give organizational assistance to the Official Committees in their respective portions of the State and to discharge such other duties as may be assigned by the State Chairman."
Fifth, If elected what are my goals as an Eastern Vice Chair?
Communication is central to a strong organization especially in a district that starts in the City of Alexandria and goes the length of the Commonwealth to the City of Virginia Beach. At SUVGOP, each week Jill Cook and I write and edit the Suburban Republican Weekly, a newsletter delivered to over 43,000 Republicans in Northern Virginia. News and information on GOP events of interest across the region. I would like to replicate this form of communication across the Eastern District on (a) bi-weekly or monthly basis to our Republican leadership about the Eastern District and (b) work with your teams to set up similar congressional district or regional weekly newsletters.
Additionally, as RPV Budget Director and sitting on the RPV Finance Committee for 3+ years, I have the experience to "give organizational assistance to the Official Committees". I will be happy to assist the new Budget Director as we prepare RPV's budget for the next election cycle and work to continue to build each of the Sub-committees of State Central. Improving communication between the Committees and Eastern District SCC Members and how we strengthen the Party will be a priority.
I ask for your vote on August 24th at the State Central Committee Meeting, please feel free to reach out with any questions and thank you for your consideration!

I am happy to go into great detail or just skim the surface of the various levels of the GOP structure and what is the role of each entity and/or affliated organization. I am also very willing to explain my positions and responsibilities in the various organizations I am involved with. Please send me an email.
